Just back from The Mamee (Mummy). Well, the story line is just like typical Mummy series, fighting from town then to moutain then to desert..wait..desert again..haha..
Erm, there are some talking points on the movie:
1st of all, why la they changed Jet Lee into a monster???!!!!Where is Jet Lee kungfu??!!!I rather see him throw spears on the air then use some kungfu kicking"ah cha ah cha ah cha" to direct the spears to the fighting jet for the destroy..but not changing into a monster then pull the plane down...dissapointed..(and i wonder where is the jet come from....=.=")..but changing into a flying dragon is acceptable as it does have it's logic. However "no" again to the monster during the fight in the underground.
2ndly, why la our chinese ppl acting in chinese movie dont speak proper chinese...ya,even u r a banana but u still can speak better, well for me, Alex is much better..respect the movie with chinese history background..what la..=.="
3rd, reading the curse in ENGLISH...????????!!!!!!!!!!!!should employ her as a translater...she translated the scroll very very fast..and she is already in her retirement age,do not need to pay her KWSP.save cost!!!
i am rating the movie for 3 stars (5 is 100%).
3 stars for the:
-humour (mummy putting it's pal head back and apologize in chinese..and Rick trying to tell the mummy that there are allies..and the 3 cute..forget the name..big snow ape)
-the action..not including the JetLee part
-the story line

Another thing tat r not make sense is the Emperor Jet Lee cursed & turned into stone with the funny post~~~but how come he ridding horse carriage with the yeng yeng post when Alex found him!?
who the hell hide him inside the mud doll!?

Anyway, this ang mo Universal Studio is really humiliating the Chinese race thru this movie.
E.g.
1) The way the emperor die is really horrible, showing no respect and dignity to a man who in fact united the Chinese under one kingdom. Universal Studio also shows the world that the emperor in China was in fact a monster with 3 heads and can be transformed into another creature which is more brutal than the Incredible Hulk when fighting the planes.
2) The terracotta soldiers are being portrayed as fragile as a vase.
3) The ang mo papa wanna fight with Jet Li man to man, but at the end the ang mo kia came and kill the emperor together with his papa. 2 person bully one emperor, shame shame ..
And many more … can’t put it all here due to limited space ..
